Bridesmaids
I don't know Joel well, but anyone willing to spend the day after Thanksgiving pulling a deceased calf must be worthy of my Emily! I couldn't be more excited she found someone so great to go through life with! Welcome to the family, Joel!
"I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
I am so honored and privileged to be a part of a Joel and Emily's forthcoming wedding, may the Lord bless their future together. Love & Blessings
A favorite quote of mine describes Joel and Emily perfectly:
“Perhaps, after all, romance did not come into one’s life with pomp and blare . . . perhaps love unfolded naturally out of a beautiful friendship, as a golden-hearted rose slipping from its green sheath.” -L.M. Montgomery
As my grandmother used to say: "Sixty years is an awful long time to look at the same face across the breakfast table but when you find someone whose face will never grow old, you've found a good thing!"
I'm glad you two have found a breakfast partner whose face you can gaze at for life!
Thankful that my "ten cow" friend found someone who recognizes her value. "Who can find a virtuous woman? for her worth is far above rubies." -Proverbs 31:10
I've thought long and hard about this but I'm still not sure who's getting the better end of the deal - Joel, Emily, or me! Couldn't be happier about my brother's choice of a wife :)
I’m glad Joel and Emily are getting married! I think Joel is good for Emily and I like him.

Groomsmen
I always told Joel that he could marry anyone, as long as they were an excellent cook. I think he finally figured it out.
"Follow hard after God. You can only grow closer if you are both moving towards the same point."
Here's my best marriage advice: "Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins." 1 Peter 4:8.
"Do not let the sun go down on your anger," Ephesians 4:26, and always double check your spouse's heart status before going to bed. No offense to the organic cereal fans out there, but we prefer Zero Degrees of separation for breakfast.
Keep the Lord the center of your lives and marriage; and He will be with you on the mountaintops as well as in the valleys of this new chapter of life…. With Him by your side you will be strong, for the Bible says in Ecclesiastes 4:12 “a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” I pray the Lord’s richest blessings on your marriage!
Mother Theresa sums it up best, "In this life we cannot do great things. We can only do small things with great love." I think you two will do just fine on this earth. :)
